- Don't study everything at one time. Space it out and do a little at a time. Take small breaks. - Write it down multiple times. It will help you remember it better. - Take good notes in class so you can easily study. - If you have a text book, read the lessons in the book so you can get it from a different perspective. - Don't wait until the night before to study, Start a few days before and space it out. - Get sleep - don't stay up all night. It will make it harder to focus during the test.
Why Study?
It is important to study for your tests so you will do well. If you don't do well in high school, it could affect the rest of your life. If you are planning on going to college these tests matter. The tests affect your grade, which affects your GPA. Colleges look at your GPA. If you study and try your best, but don't get the best grade, don't worry. It isn't the end of the world and you can easily bring it back up if you continue to try your best. Remember the tests you take now are important for the rest of your life, even if you feel like you won't need the material later in life.
